(optional upgrade- not included on all licenses)
See how our Ratings feature builds out your Journey Map and Experience Graph to show you every moment of your Respondents’ Journeys and Experiences.
6.5 Exporting data
With Indeemo there are a number of ways to export your data. While fieldwork is live, you and your moderator colleagues can export data to Word and to Excel and can also export your Journey Map data to an image file.
Once fieldwork ends, the above exports are still export options, but the Project Owner can now also request the Bulk Media Export.
Please see below the video or written instructions to guide you on exporting your data.
Bulk Media Export:
Only available when fieldwork is over.
Only the project owner will have access to this.
Clicking on the Manage Project button at the top of the screen and you will see the project.
Click on the 3 dots to the to the right of the box your project appears in.
Click on the Export media button and choose the target group who’s content you want to export and then click on Request Export.
You will receive an email with the zip files of each respondent (this can take a few hours to generate).
You can then click on the name and it will download a zip file automatically, unzip the file and you will see the media (photos and videos) uploaded by that respondent.
This bulk media export does not include the captions they uploaded with the media, it only has the media file (photos and videos).
Word Export:
All Moderators and Project Owner have access to this.
On the dashboard, make sure you have filtered to the information you need to export (for example by Project or Target Group or Respondent etc) and then click on the Search Icon.
Click on that Export button to the right of the screen and there are 2 options, Export to Word and Export to Excel.
Click on Export to Word and we will send you an email with a word doc download link.
The word doc will include the captions, thumbnails of the videos / photos, task name and any comments.
There is no download media link on word export.
Excel Export:
All Moderators and Project Owner have access to this.
On the dashboard, make sure you have filtered to the information you need to export (for example by project or target group or respondent etc) and then click on the Search Icon.
Click on that Export button to the right of the screen and there are 2 options, Export to Word and Export to Excel.
Click on Export to Excel and an excel download will be triggered.
The excel export will include the captions, download media links and comments etc.
But you will need to download the media one by one.
Journey Map:
(available as an optional upgrade- not included in all licenses)
On the dashboard, make sure you are on the Journey Map view and have filtered to the information you need to export (for example by project or target group or respondent etc) and then click on the Search Icon.
On each Journey Map, click on the Download button to the right of the screen and there are 2 options.
Single Image file: This will export the Journey Map as a single image (this is the best option for adding the Journey Map to apps like Miro, Mural, Powerpoint etc).
Multiple images files: This will export the Journey Map in multiple, higher resolution sections so you can assemble the Journey Map yourself.
Experience Graph (if enabled on your project):
On the dashboard, make sure you are on the Experience Graph view and have filtered to the information you need to export (for example by project or target group or respondent etc) and then click on the Search Icon.
On each Experience Graph, click on the Export Image button to the right of each graph.
